Perhaps you’ve been thinking about making changes to an existing space for a long time - transforming your property, garden, terrace space into the amazing place you know it can be.

Well, if you’ve found your way here, then you’re in the right place. We’re here to listen closely to all you want to do and to help guide you through the landscape design and planning process. We know design and construction can sometimes feel like a mysterious and daunting world! But with our decades of experience, and step by step process, we look forward to shepherding you through it and having fun along the way.

A note from Liz

Since my early days growing up in the Hudson River Valley, I’ve enjoyed gardening, art and design and when I discovered the field of landscape architecture at Cornell University, it seemed like a natural fit. Since then, I’ve had the pleasure of working at many of the leading design firms in the country, from California to New York City, including David Thorne Landscape Architect, West 8, Thomas Balsley Associates, Hollander Design, and more! In the process, I’ve designed a wide range of projects, from college campuses and city parks, to private estates, backyard gardens and rooftop terraces. I’ve enjoyed it all! 

But the truth is… I had always dreamt of having my own firm and designing unique outdoor spaces for my own clients, guiding them through the design and planning processes, tuning into their personal goals and finding new ways to create beautiful, meaningful spaces, that are just right for them. Alas, in 2017 with 20+ years of experience under my belt, I hung up my OWN shingle and opened my landscape architecture studio in Brooklyn, NY. 

It’s been a wild, wonderful ride ever since! 

One of the best parts of my job is seeing your excitement grow as we begin to discuss ideas and possibilities for your spaces. In time, as my team and I get to know your particular goals, we’ll create a plan that’s uniquely customized for you and your space.  And all of those years of experience help me to guide you through the full course of a project in a smooth, timely manner- from planning and budgeting to construction. As your project winds down and the last plant gets planted, you’ll feel like it’s the icing on the beautiful and delicious cake we’ve designed and planned together.
